Registration

Unless your site is configured as a private site, everybody can browse and display all available pages and files. To create and modify pages, and to upload new files, user have to create individual user accounts and log into the system with their user name and password.

To create a new user account, click on Login, and then, instead of actually logging in, click on Register new user. This causes a registration form to appear, asking you for a username and a password for the new user.

The username must match the value of pattern user_pattern. The password has to be entered twice to reduce the chance of accidental typing errors.

After registering, you can log into the server using your new username and password.

Login

Using separate user accounts for different persons allows for a playground of multiple identities. Once you have successfully logged into the server, you can modify its contents, including creating and modifying pages as well as uploading binary files.

If the option called deny_register is set to true, new users are not permitted to register, but existing users can still log into the system.
